What the Lack?!

Seriously, all I should need to put is Psalm 23.  Really...

The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not have lack....


But the one thing I have noticed is that Christians seem to think that is all about money, clothing, food, life's materials...and it is, but it's also about Grace, Love, Peace and Joy.  It's about the Holy Spirit.

The Lord is my best friend and guide,
I shall not feel empty or have need for anything.

So many times I have had people say to me, "I am so hungry for God."  Ok there is hunger and there is HUNGER!  Maybe we need to use another word for it...I am not hungry for more of God cos I am one with Him and I literally can not get more, but I can have a desire to understand more about Him, to grow in intimacy with Him.  Maybe instead of the word hunger it should be "I am so in Love with God, I enjoy hearing more about who He is and I love that I get to talk to Him all the time.

The other type of Hunger is a desperation or a feeling of distance, and that is just a stupid lie from that other dude, who isn't even worth mentioning.

You are not lacking

Your cup overflows.

You are one with Christ.
